confessional
Basically at work, all I do is pull files from the eternal filing cabinets of mortgage companies and listen to This American Life. So, I apologize for my blog getting plastered with the podcast.
Yesterday I listened the This American Life episode “What I Learned from Television”. Ira Glass does a segment where he not only confesses his love for the O.C, but also Gilmore Girls via the...

My feet are covered in bloody blisters from climbing the hills in my work shoes. At least my hands and feet match.
SOS.
Reception
Today was the official official first day of office temping. No training, no safety net receptionist, just me and the phones baby. I was told I could use the Internet and read during any down time, which was the whole , considering it was MLK day and the majority of thier clietns had the day off. So I go straight to Gchat. Blocked. Aim Express. Blocked. A little more underground, perhaps? ...

A quote I used in a term paper for one of my sociology classes, this is one of many ridiculous claims regarding an array of drugs which were made by our government.
“Some local law enforcement leaders, for example, complained that Chinese men were using [opium] to seduce white women into sexual slavery”
“…cocaine induced African-American men to rape white women.”
“There were reports...
